Clinical Social Worker/Therapist
With over ten years of experience, Jessica has devoted her career to working with dynamic populations seeking therapy to heal from a wide spectrum of traumatic experiences. Specializing in perinatal therapy, Jessica has specific expertise in dealing with perinatal loss and birth trauma, taking into account the shifts in identity that can accompany pregnancy, birth, and perinatal challenges. She has worked closely with survivors of violence, childhood trauma, addiction, and mental health issues, as well as LGBTQIA+ youth and their families. Jessica is passionate about assisting trauma survivors in honoring their experiences as they progress toward a place of self-discovery and healing.
Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR), Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and holding a Trauma Counseling Certificate, Jessica collaboratively explores a blend of these therapies that feels safe and validating for individuals as they compassionately nurture the parts of themselves that have been injured.
Jessica's guiding therapeutic approach centers on recognizing individuals as the experts of their own experiences and needs. Together, she and her clients seek strategies tailored to their specific needs and experiences to promote well-being as they embark on the rewarding work of healing. Jessica offers both individual and couples therapy in a virtual environment, providing a flexible and accessible space for individuals on their journey toward growth and resilience.
